This 14-Year-Old Filipino Kid Is Developing a Video Game About Killing the Coronavirus

What were you doing when you were 14 years old?
This young man is developing a video game. And not just any game: he’s creating one where you’re firing at and destroying the coronavirus.
I'm a 14-year-old Pinoy game developer, and I'm making a game about killing the coronavirus from r/Philippines
User _n0cturnal released an early prototype of the game on Reddit which he says took him about two days to create. In the comments section he said he used the game engine Unity, Visual Studio Code as code editor, and the programming language C#.
“I started learning C# a few years ago but only got into game development last year,” he said.
_n0cturnal said he used free resources on the internet, mostly YouTube videos, to teach himself the basics of coding, game development and even the graphics as well.
“I have many, many experimental / incomplete projects,” he said in answer to a question on the Reddit thread. “I think experimenting a lot with the engine and coding is what got me tp where I am now.
The game is in the very early stages of development. It’s currently on the Windows platform but he developer says he plans to release it on itch.io, a website for users to host, sell and download indie video games.
“I will release a testing build when most core mechanics have been implemented,” he said.
He adds that he plans to release a mobile version eventually as well.
