PSA: PAL Will Let You Fly With Your Furry Companions

It’s only the second day of the week but we need another stress reliever. Here’s some good news to get you through till the weekend: You can fly Philippine Airlines (PAL) and bring your service and emotional support doggos on board.
According to PAL, service dogs can accompany their disabled owners on both domestic and international flights, however, emotional support dogs will only be allowed for flights to and from the United States of America.
However, badly behaving doggos might be denied from boarding if they aren’t properly trained to behave in public settings. For now, service and support animals are only limited to dogs, and passengers need to inform PAL at least 48 hours before departure if they’ll be bringing their companion with them.
For owners with emotional support dogs, PAL will require documentation from a mental health professional or medical doctor confirming and explaining the passenger’s condition and the dog’s role to its owner.
