The Crown's Josh O'Connor Picks the Perfect Slim Watch for His Golden Globes Win

The Crown’s Josh O’Conner played his role of the unhappily married and sometimes cruel Prince Charles so convincingly that you shook your fists in anger every time he appeared on screen to berate Emma Corrin’s Princess Diana. And the 78th Golden Globes agreed, anointing the 30-year-old as the best television actor in a drama at yesterday’s ceremony.  

When he appeared on screen, this time to accept the award and thank, among others, his series partner Corrin, the actor brought a smile to your face. “To Emma Corrin, best actress winner, you're extraordinary, talented, funny, and brilliant player of rock paper scissors. I love you to bits,” O’Conner said.

Also, he looked damn good as he correctly chose to dress up for the event, even if attendees were broadcasting safely from home. The rig was Loewe, a black tuxedo jacket with wide and white lapels matched with a soft and flowy cravat (instead of a tie!) and wide and white trousers. It was an off-beat choice that suited the young actor. But what you may have missed in this delicious look was its perfect detail: a slim watch left unseen and off-screen.
