Kindred Secures $5.5M Funding to Open More Clinics for Women
Female technology startup Kindred Health, Inc. has secured a total of $5.5 million in capital to level up its health care services specifically tailored for women in the Philippines. The company raised $2.5 million after successfully closing its pre-Series A funding round, and another $3 million upon its completion of key requirements in the second tranche.

Integra Partners, a Singapore-headquartered venture capital firm, led the recent funding round, with investments from Kaya Founders, KSR Ventures, Ava Zobel Pessina, Pawikan Capital Group, Tenco Capital, as well as Frans and Micaela Beltran. Pulse63 Healthcare Ventures, on the other hand, continues to help build and support Kindred.

Launched in 2021, Kindred is a pioneering femtech company in the Philippines that provides affordable and elevated health care services for women across various categories: OB-GYN; contraceptives; health screenings; immunizations; IV therapy; nutrition and fitness coaching; wellness; as well as mental health. These can be accessed both through its mobile app and physical clinic in Taguig City.
With the latest investment, Kindred is planning to open 10 more clinics by year-end to reach more women, especially those in underserved areas in the country. Its second branch is set to be launched in Quezon City this July. The startup will also use the funding to further improve its digital platforms for a more seamless online-to-offline experience for its clients. Aside from these, Kindred is looking at expanding the range of its services to be able to cater to other critical women’s health issues, such as infectious diseases, infertility, and menopause.
“These new services will be designed to help women navigate and understand their options, offering personalized and comprehensive care solutions that empower them to make informed decisions about their health and well-being,” said Kindred.
